BoxEasy is a multi-platform software player. It was originally developed for Microsoft Windows, however version 2.0 of the program allows BoxEasy to work with any operating system that supports audio files.
In addition to playing audio files, BoxEasy provides basic album navigation, automatic playlists, and the ability to add custom tracks to existing album playlists. Full album art is displayed for most of the tracks, although displaying and ordering covers and wallpapers is optional.
BoxEasy was designed to run as a standalone program, but it can also play simultaneously with any media player that supports playing audio files, like Windows Media Player, iTunes, and Windows Media Player.
With the BoxEasy Jukebox player, you can import your media to BoxEasy by choosing «Import from Windows Media Player» from the «File» menu. BoxEasy will create an automatic playlist of the imported content and display it on its music menu. You can then play the playlist as a Jukebox.
If you want, you can also use this import function to load other content such as a CD or DVD. Just browse to the media location and select the appropriate type of content.
BoxEasy can read and play content from several media formats, including some unusual formats like FLV files, which include video and audio.
You can organize your music in special playlists, displaying all the tracks in a particular folder at once.
BoxEasy supports many basic functions to control playback including repeat, shuffle, rewind and forward.

Yes. BoxEasy is a jukebox program because it uses file names rather than tags to identify songs. Using a tag database means that songs without ID tags cannot be played by the program.

BoxEasy Jukebox IS NOT compatible with Windows Media Player 10.
We have received many bug reports about this and from our own research we have determined that it is a misfeature of Windows Media Player 10. BoxEasy is a Windows standard that you can use as a media player and it was never designed to work specifically with the Microsoft DRM system. BoxEasy is a jukebox player, not a Windows Media player. Please remove this program from your list of installed programs if it’s not the right choice for you and install Windows Media Player.
